Doorway
I stopped learning something
You started a course, habit, language, skill, or project. Then something changed. Before you blame yourself, find out what kind of stop it is.

Before you blame yourself, find out what kind of stop it is.
Fans of Learning is a learning lab by Martin and Erika. We test reading, Mandarin, AI, body, habits, and other skills in public to understand what happens when learning starts, stops, restarts, and changes who we become.
Current experiment
Learning stops
Fans of Learning is becoming a testing router: different doorways, one lab, and a clear next step for each kind of learning problem.
Doorway
You started a course, habit, language, skill, or project. Then something changed. Before you blame yourself, find out what kind of stop it is.
Doorway
AI can help you investigate why learning stopped if you give it better questions than generic productivity prompts.
Doorway
Learners may not disappear because they lack discipline. They may be hitting predictable stops your course does not yet support.
Doorway
Follow what Martin and Erika are reading, testing, practicing, and noticing while the method is still warm.
Currently testing
These are early paid tests. Each one is narrow enough to deliver now and sharp enough to teach us what people actually want help with.
For individuals
01Bring one thing you stopped learning or changing. Leave with a clearer read on what kind of stop it probably is and what to try next.
For AI-curious learners
02A guided process for using AI to investigate one learning stop without turning it into generic advice or endless rumination.
For creators
03We look at one course or module and identify where learners are likely to stall, misdiagnose themselves, or need a support layer.
The living map
The point is not a bigger shelf of knowledge. It is transfer: the moment one practice starts changing another.

Active transfer
Tango changes the body. The body changes attention. Attention changes reading.
The working library
Less archive, more workbench: the books, signs, notes, and practices active right now.
From attention to trust
The library starts with the visible shelf: what Martin and Erika are reading, what they are practicing, and the small signals worth saving before they become polished notes.

Why this exists
We believe humans are not finished. The way we move, think, relate, and remember can be retrained in layers throughout life. Nothing you learn stays in its own box.
Questions
A learning lab by Martin and Erika, a couple in Stockholm. We test skills, AI, body, language, habits, and the moment learning stops.
People who stopped learning something they still care about, AI-curious learners, course creators, and people who want to follow a live learning lab.
The newsletter: field notes from the lab, learning stop examples, AI mirror prompts, reading and Mandarin experiments, and early invitations to test Fans of Learning offers.
We are starting with small paid tests: Stop Audits, AI Mirror sessions, and Course Impasse Audits. The point is to learn what actually helps before we build too much.
